The education sector plays a major role in Kenya’s development strategy in developing the human resource of the country which is the basis of wealth creation of the country. To build an educated and skilled human resource, Kenya needs to invest in education and encourage innovation to provide a foundation for sustainable development in the long run. Article 43 (1) (f) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, under the Bill of Rights on Social and Economic Rights of the Kenyan populous, states that every person has the right to education.
