Under SNV Project on Promotion of Effective CSO Engagement and Advocacy in Sanitation Policy, IEA visited three counties of Elgeyo Marakwet on 22nd ,Kericho on 23rd and Homa Bay on 24th March 2017. The visit were the first of a series of visits this year as part of the SNV Voice for Change project that focuses on evidence based advocacy for increased budgetary allocation for Sanitation at the national and county level. During this visits, the team established the baselines. For example, current levels of political will, inter-ministerial coordination, engagement and advocacy by civil society organizations; retrieve relevant documents for budget analysis and advocacy; as well as understand the current political and civil society field on sanitation within the counties.
