This Year's budget was read on 10th June 2010. The Minister for Finance read the biggest budget in the history of Kenya at least in nominal terms, themed "Towards Inclusive and Sustainable Rapid Economic Growth". It seeks to scale up the growth and distributive policy initiatives started in 2009 for the wellbeing of Kenyans. This Bulletin is the Institute of Economic Affairs analysis of the 2010/11 National Budget.

On the 14th of June 2001, the Minister for Finance in Kenya tabled the 2001/2002 budget to the National assembly. The house will devote most of the time between now and the end of the year debating the Governments economic policy as outlined in the budget speech and budget implementing legislation, specifically the Finance Bill (Tax and Miscellaneous proposals and the Appropriations Bill).
