Malaria in Kenya is a major epidemic and is ranked second after HIV/AIDs in the burden of disease prevalence. The Kenyan government has both preventive and curative measures for dealing with Malaria pandemic in the country. Under preventive measures the reduction of mosquito vectoral capacity is done using Insecticide Treated Nets (ITNs) and Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) interventions.
